Accessibility Statement for Singapore Mediation Solutions

At Singapore Mediation Solutions, we believe that a "Culture of Peace" begins with inclusion. We are committed to ensuring that our mediation frameworks, research, and scholarly publications—including the Mediation for Life and Peace series—are accessible to everyone, regardless of physical or cognitive ability.

Our Commitment

We strive to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA standards. Our goal is to provide a digital environment where information is perceivable, operable, understandable, and robust for all users, including those using assistive technologies like screen readers and voice recognition software.

Accessibility Features of Our Publications

Our scholarly volumes (Vol 1-14+) are designed with the following features:

  • Tagged PDFs: Our downloadable files are tagged for logical reading order and screen reader compatibility.
  • Reflowable EPUBs: We provide EPUB formats to allow users to customize text size, font, and contrast.
  • Alternative Text: Figures, charts, and diagrams include descriptive ALT text to ensure visual information is conveyed semantically.
  • Structural Navigation: We use proper heading hierarchies (H1-H6) to allow for easy "jump" navigation.

Known Limitations

While we strive for 100% coverage, some older archival materials or third-party legacy links may not yet fully meet Level AA standards. We are actively working to update these materials as part of our ongoing commitment to grassroots inclusion.
